LUCKY 7'S: Brent Marks & CJB Score Three Straight Seventh Place Finishes
30th annual Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek rolls on for team
CARLISLE, PA. - June 29, 2020 - Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek is in full swing and the CJB Motorsports team has strung together three consecutive seventh place finishes to open the event.
Before speedweek began, the team and driver Brent Marks contested an Ollie's Bargain Outlets All Star Circuit of Champions event at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on Wednesday, June 24th. Marks timed in 7th, won his heat race and finished 3rd in the dash. A 5th place finish in the feature propelled them into the throws of Speedweek.
The 30th edition of the annual endurance test began at Williams Grove Speedway near Mechanicsburg, Pa. on Friday, June 26th. Marks timed in 15th, finished 3rd in his heat race and 7th in the feature.
The following night was at Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pa. Marks timed in 11th, finished 4th in the heat race and 7th in the feature. Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway held its' speedweek event on Sunday, June 28th. Again, Marks was stout by timing in 20th, charging from 5th to 2nd in his heat race and botching another 7th place finish. With his finishes, Marks sits 7th in the speedweek points.

"I've been doing a bad job qualifying and need to fix that," said Marks, pilot of the #5 Wolfrun Landscapes, , C&S Lawn and Landscape, Ecynbro Trucking machine. "I'm hoping we can start a streak of top three finishes here the rest of the week."

Monday, June 29 - Lincoln Speedway, Abbottstown, Pa.
Tuesday, June 30 - Grandview (Pa.) Speedway
Wednesday, July 1 - Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway
Thursday, July 2 - Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway
Friday, July 3 - Williams Grove Speedway, Mechanicsburg, Pa.
Saturday, July 4 - Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway
"Our car is capable of winning every one of these races which is exciting," said Marks. "I just have to get it done."
